This Blanket Measures about 35.5″ X 41″

Materials: Bernat Softee Baby Yarn, two-three skeins of each White and Pale Blue, Needle size: 5.00 mm or Size H.

Stitches used

CH = Chain

SC = Single Crochet

DC = Double Crochet

FPDC = Front Post Double Crochet

 

The pattern is a multiple of 15 plus 2 for those who would like the blanket bigger

This Blanket Measures about 35.5″ X 41″

Base: Chain 152 with white yarn.

Row 1 and 2: SC across, CH 1, turn.

Row 3: 15 SC, *FPDC around next SC two rows below, 1 SC, repeat 7 more times from *, FPDC (this is your 8th FPDC). Repeat from beginning across to end, SC in last sp, Ch 1 turn.

Row 4: SC across to end, Ch 1, Turn.

Row 5-20: Repeat rows 3 and 4.

Row 21: Repeat row 3.

Row 22: Change color to blue, repeat row 4.

Row 23: * 1 SC, FPDC around the next SC two row below, Repeat 6 times from *(This Gives you 7 FPDC), 1 SC (this is your 15th st), 15 SC, repeat from beginning across to last st, SC, Ch 1 turn.

Row 24: SC across, Ch 1, turn.

Row 25 – 40: repeat row 23 and 24.

Row 41: Repeat Row 23.

Row 42: Change to white yarn, repeat row 4.

Repeat rows 3 through 42: until you have 12 stripes, tie off.

Border: SC around the blanket for a border, SC Three times in each corner stitch.
