Super Cute Fall Head Band! Easy and doesn’t take too long. This headband fits from a tween to an adult sized head. Give this one a try.
Materials: Caron yarn – Gray, Black Eyelash yarn, and variegated orange yarn. One fall leaf, and needle and black thread.
SL = Slip Stitch
SK = Sip
CH = Chain
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
DC2tog = Double Crochet 2 together
Headband-grey
Base: 12
Row 1: DC in 3rd CH from hook, 9 DC, CH 2, turn.
Row 2-4: (Ch 2 from previous row always acts as 1st DC so always SK 1st sp), 9 DC, CH 2, turn.
Row 5: 2 DC in 1st sp, 6 Dc, 2 DC in next sp, Dc, Ch 2, turn.
Row 6-9: 11 DC, CH 2, turn.
Row 10: 2 DC in 1st sp, 8 DC, 2 DC in next sp, DC, Ch 2, turn.
Row 11-33: 13 DC, Ch 2, turn.
Row 34: Dc2tog, 8 DC, Dc2tog, DC, Ch 2, turn.
Row 35-38: 11 DC, CH 2, turn.
Row 39: DC2tog, 6 DC, Dc2tog, CH 2, turn.
Row 40-43: 9 DC, Ch 2, turn. On last row tie off and hide string.
Black Eye lash flower
Base: Ch 25
Row 1: * Ch 5, SC, Rep from * across. Tie off and leave long tail
Take tail and weave in and out of base and pull tight.
Gray Middle
Base: Ch 6, SL to 1st CH made to form ring, CH 1, turn.
Row 1-2: 5 SC, Ch 1, turn.
Tie off and leave long tail weave tail in and out of row 2 pull to close.
Orange flower: I made two
Base: Ch 6, SL to 1st Ch made to form ring, Ch 1, turn.
Row 1: * Ch 6, SC in Ch 6 sp, Rep from * 3 more times, Ch 6, SL to 1st SC made, tie off.
To assemble: take your needle and black thread and sew down your fall leaf, then sew down your orange leafs in chosen manner, then sew your black flower down, then your grey middle and hide you thread.
