Angry Bird Hat! This Pattern was requested so I am Happy to oblige. Measures for a 3-4T child. Have fun with this one!
Materials: Caron yarn colors: Sunshine yellow, Autumn Red, black and white, Size H crochet Hook. Don’t forget the Stuffing for the nose!
SL = Slip Stitch

Hat- Autumn Red
Base: Ch 4, Sl to 1st CH made to form a ring, ch1 turn.
Rnd 1: 10 SC in CH 4 ring, SL to 1st SC made, CH 1, turn.
Rnd 2: * SC, 2 SC in next sp, Rep from * around, SL to 1st SC made, CH 1, turn.
Rmd 3: * 2 SC, 2 SC in next sp, Rep from * around, Sl to 1st SC made, Ch 1, turn.
Rnd 4: * 3 SC, 2 SC in next sp, Rep from * around, SL to 1st SC made, Ch 1, turn.

Row 4: SC2tog, 8 SC, SC2tog, CH 1, turn.
Row 5: 10 SC, Ch 1, turn.
Row 6: SC2tog, 6 SC, SC2tog, CH 1, turn.
Row 7: 8 SC, Tie off.
Counting around hat on row 30. Sk 28 Sps
Rep rows 1-7 for the other ear cover.
Starting and continuing new rnd around the hat as wells as the ear covers.

Braids-White.
Cut white yarn into yard strips and fold in half and place onto the ends of the ear cuffs. Take these strings and braid onto wanted length.

Rnd 2: 2 SC in each sp around, Sl to 1st SC made, Ch 1, turn.

Pupil – Black

Putting the hat together
After the main hat is made and the braids are put on, do the following:
With Darning needle and matching yarn:
First sew eyes into place.
Second sew on the pupils.
Third sew the eyebrows over the tops of the eyes.
Fourth the beak is to be sewn onto the face with a slight overlay of the eyes.
Lastly Crochet the head feathers and sewn onto the top of his head.
