Beard
Starting at the bottom of the beard form, take 3 long strands of grey yarn and fold in half, connect around the posts of your beard form. Cover the beard form completely leaving the upper lip for last. Taking White yarn make two long braids to cover above the lip. Sew these on with a needle and thread. Make any changes you need around the mouth such as some may want to close the mouth opening slightly.
It is important to then fit the beard and the hat to which you are making this hat for. And fit the beard tightly onto the face so the beard doesn’t droop downward. Mark where the beard needs to be sewn on the hat. With your darning needle and white yarn sew the beard onto the hat.
