Fun and Classy Flower. It is made from size 10 – red Crochet thread and Black eyelash yarn. Button Flowers are the best. This Flower fits over a ½” button.  I used a white button but a black or red button would do just as good depending what you are putting the flower on. Happy Crafting

Materials: Lydia’s Size 10 Red Crochet Thread, Black Eyelash yarn, Hook Sizes 1.8 mm and 3.37 mm, and your ½” button of choice.

CH= Chain

SL = Slip Stitch

SC = Single Crochet

HDC = Half Double Crochet

DC = Double Crochet

Flower – Red thread and 1.80 mm hook

Base: Ch 9, SL to 1^st CH made, turn.

Rnd 1: In CH 9 SP, 1 SC, * 1 HDC, 2 DC, 1 HDC, 1 SC, Rep from * 3 times, 1 HDC, 2 DC, 1 HDC, SL to 1^st SC made, turn.

Rnd 2: Ch 3, SK to next SC sp, SL in SC sp, *CH 3, SK to next SC sp, SL in SC, Rep from * around, SL to 1^st SC, CH 1 turn.

Rnd 3: In each Ch 3 sp (1 SC, 4 DC, 1 SC), SL to 1^st SC made, turn.

Rnd 4: *CH 5, SL in between peddles (skipping about 5 sps), Rep from * around flower, SL to 1^st Ch made, Ch 1, turn.

Rnd 5: In each Ch 5 sp (1 SC, 1 HDC, 6 DC, 1 HDC, 1 SC), SL to 1^st SC, turn.

Rnd 6: * CH 6, SL between peddles, Rep around, SL to 1^st CH made, tie off and hide string.

Change to black eyelash yarn and Size 3.75 mm hook.

Rnd 7: *In each Ch 6 sp (1 SC, Ch 3, 1 SC, CH 3), rep around, SL to 1^st SC made, tie off and hide string.
