SO Much Fun! Mini Franken Stein Bags! Great party for party favors for that Halloween fun. So throw a party and give these out with Halloween Treats you will be the hit of the neighborhood.
Materials: Caron Simply Soft Yarn: Pistachio, black, Crochet H hook, Googly eyes, and Red ribbon.
Bag: Pistachio (green)
Base: Ch 24
Row 1: SC in 2nd ch from hook, *Ch 1, Sk 1 sp, SC, Rep from * across, CH 1, turn.
Row 2: SC, *SC in CH 1 sp, CH 1, SK 1 sp, Rep from * across to last 2 sps (CH and SC sps), SC in CH 1 sp, SC in last sp, CH 1, turn.
Row 3:SC, CH 1, SK 1 sp, SC in CH 1, sp, Rep from * across, CH 1, turn.
Rows4-43: Rep Rows 2 and 3.
Fold bag motif in half and sew up the sides to make bag.
Handle: Black-make two
Base: CH 3
Row 1-39:2 SC, CH 1 turn.
Rnd 40: SC, 3 SC in corner sp, 37 SC, 3 SC in corner sp, 3 Sc in corner sp, 36 SC, 2 SC in 1st Corner sp, SL to 1st SC made, Tie off, Leave long tail for sewing.
Sew both ends onto the tops of the bag forming a handle. Do this twice.
Hair: Black
Base: Ch 47
Row 1-2: 46 SC, Ch 1 turn.
Row 3:*SL, HDC, DC, HDC, Rep from * across, end with SL in last sp, Tie off, leave tial for sewing.
Sew hair along top of bag, on top of the handles.
Nose: Pistachio (green)
Base: CH 2
Rnd 1: 8 SC in 1st Ch sp made, SL to 1st SC made, CH 1, turn.
Rnd 2:*SC, 2 SC in next sp, Rep from * around, SL to 1st Sc made, CH 1 turn. (12)
Rnd 3-5:12 SC, SL to 1st SC made, Ch 1, turn. (5th rnd, tie off)
Push nose into a triangular shape and tack down then sew onto middle of bag.
Neck Plugs: Black-make two
Base: Ch 4
Row 1-5: 3 SC, CH 1, turn.
Rnd 6: 2 SC, *3 SC in corner sp, 3 SC, rep from * 2 more times, 2 SC in corner sp, Sl to 1st SC made, tie off.
Fold the plugs in half and sew onto the very bottom of both side of the bag. Then with black yarn and darning needle: Sew eyebrows on and a mouth where you want them.
Next Glue the googly eyes into place with glue gun.
