Super Fun Snowman! Great for Holiday Décor this Season! It is simple and easy. This snowman has simple instructions and cute button that need to be sewn on.
Materials: Caron Yarn: White and Black, Hook Size – H, Poly-Fill, La Mode buttons style numbers are; 602, 20639, and 701, Rice, Two 4×4 pieces of white fabric, Blue plaid material. I used a sewing machine for this project. If you do not have one it doesn’t take long to sew the bean bag and scarf by hand.

Base: Ch 3
Rnd 1: 8 Sc in 1st Ch made, SL to 1st SC, Ch 1, turn.
Rnd 2:* 2 SC in next SC sp, Rep from * around. SL to 1 SC made, CH 1, turn.
Rnd 3:* 1 SC, 2 Sc in next Sc sp, Rep from * around, SL to 1st SC made, CH 1, turn.

Head of Snowman

Before continuing it is time to stuff the bottom and middle parts of snowman.
1ST: Take two 4×4 piece of white fabric with backsides facing and sew around the perimeter leaving 1” gap, turn the bag inside out, and fill with rice, sew up end.
2nd: Stuff the bean bag to the very bottom of the snowman.
3rd: Stuff the remaining parts of snowman with Poly-fill.
4th: Pick up your hook and continue crocheting.
Rnd 45: Rep Row 21.
Rnd 46-47: Rep Rnds 22-23
Rnd 48: Rep Rnd 37.
Rnd 49: *2 SC, Dec 1, rep from * 3 times, SL to 1st SC made, CH 1, turn.
Rnd 50: *1 SC, Dec 1, 2 SC, rep from * 3 times, SL to 1st SC made, tie off and leave long tail.
Stuff the head of snowman with Poly-fill and take the tail of Rnd 50 and weave in and out of Rnd, pull hole shut and tie off.
Hat
Base: CH 3.
Rnd 1: 8 SC in 1st CH sp, SL to 1st SC made, CH 1, turn.
Rnd 2: 2 SC in each space around, SL to 1st SC made, CH 1, turn.
Rnd 3-10: 16 SC, SL to 1st SC made, CH 1, turn.
Rnd 11: 2 SC in each space around. Tie off, hide string, and stuff with Poly-fill.
Sew Hat onto Snowman’s head by sewing down Rnd 10.
Scarf
1st: Cut out a piece of fabric that is 1” wide and 10” long.
2nd: Fold in half length wise and iron.
3rd: Sew the ends tog and turn inside out and iron.
4th: Wrap Scarf around Snowman and sew one end to the middle of the scarf giving it a snug fit as well as a long tail. Bend the tail so it is in a downward position and sew it in the downward position.
La Mode Buttons
Style 701 is a snowflake which should be sewn on the hat.
Styles 602 are the eyes and nose which should be sewn on the head.
Styles 20639 are the buttons that should be sewn along the body.
