After finishing the two sides of the pillows there will be four places where along the border that want to overlap. You will need to overlap them and sew them down into pleats before sewing the pillow together.
Make one Pink and one Red.
After finishing both sides of pillow then place right sides together and sew around 3.5 sides of pillow and turn work inside out. Place pillow inside of work and finish sewing up the 4th side.
Take 2 yards of each yarn color and fold in half. Tie a bow on the upper left side of pillow in the opposite yarn. This helps pull the pillow together.
Option: Instead of a using a bow it is cute to embroider a heart on each side instead.
