Leg warmers are in style for infants. This Cute and Fun leg warmer measures 9 “long with a circumference of 6 1/2”. You can make these in no time and are a timeless classic for your pictures.
Materials: Sensation cuddle yarn, Colors: Turquoise, Lilac, Pink, and Lt Green. You will also need a cable needle and 4 sock needles.
K= Knit
P= Purl
C8B = Cable 8 in back [Put first 4 sts on cable needle and hold in back of work then from left needle (K1,P2, K1) then work from cable needle (K1, P2, K1)].
Front Cross = K in 2nd st on left needle then K in 1st sts then slip both sts off left needle.
Top Cuff: LT Green.
Cast on 56 sts. Split sts onto three sock needles 1st – 14, 2nd – 28, 3rd – 14. Working in Rnds:
Cuff 1- 15: *K1, P1, rep from * around. Should measure 1 ¾” long.
Rnd 16 – 18: *P2, K1, P2, K2, P2, K1, P2, Rep from * around.
Rnd 19: * P2, K1, P2, K2, P2, K1, P2, Work Front Cross, Rep from * around.
Change color to Pink
Rnd 20-24: Rep Rnds 16-19
Rnd 25-28: Rep Rnds 16-18
Rnd 29: * P2, C8B [Put first 4 sts on cable needle and hold in back of work then from left needle (K1,P2, K1) then work from cable needle (K1, P2, K1)], P2, Work Front Cross, Rep from * around.
Work Rnds 16- 29 Continually through Rnd 60 then work Cuff Rnds again.
When you reach Rnd 38 Switch to Color Purple:
When you reach Rnd 57 Switch to Color Blue:
Rnd 61-76 Cuff: *K1, P1, Rep from * around.
Cast Off! Don’t Forget to make 2!!!!
