Delicate and Beautiful there is nothing else like a tatted Christmas Ornament! This ornament is made from five easy rows.
Materials: Size 20 thread, two shuttles, 1.3 mm crochet hook, and Ribbon of your choice.
# = Number of Double Stitches
R = Ring
SR = Split Ring
RND = Round
– = Small Picot
— = Medium Pico
— = Large Picot
CL = Close Ring
+ = Attach
RW = Reverse Work
RND 1:
R1: 10-5-5-10 CL.
R2-5: 10+5-5-10 CL. (Attach to last – in Prev. R)
R6: 10+5-5+10 CL. (Attach to last – in prev. R and in 1st – in R1)
Finish RND by tying the ending stands of thread to beginning of work.
RND 2: Using Split Rings
SR1: 5+5/5-5 CL. (attach to – in Rnd 1)
SR2: 3-3/3-3 CL.
SR3-12: Rep SR1 and SR2.
Finish by + to 1st SR made, Tie off, hide string.
RND 3: Using Split Rings
SR1: 5+5/5-5 CL. (attach to – of Rnd 2 on a 3-3/3-3 R)
SR2: 3+3/3-3 CL. (attach to – of Rnd 2 on a 5+5/5-5 R)
SR3-12: Rep SR1 and SR2.
Finish by + to Beginning of SR1, tie off.
