Peacock

I painted this in May of 2016. I had a friend Jen that wanted me to teach her daughter to paint. I only started painting 7 month earlier and only had a few paintings under my belt and I am just making things up as I go along so I had no confidence in “teaching” anyone anything, but I knew her daughter loved peacocks so I painted her daughter this and left it at her house. Jen wasn’t home but her daughter not knowing it was for her opened the present saw what it was and hide the painting in her room. Months passed and I finally asked my friend um did you like the present that I left for your daughter and she had no clue what I was talking about! She went home and through a lot of coaxing her daughter found it hidden in her closet. She didn’t want her sisters to have it. Needless to say my painting went to a good home and to someone that would love it.
