I was asked at church if I could draw the “Tree of Life” for a lesson. The teacher told me later I took it a little overboard, but I never do anything small. So later I took the drawing I made him and painted it with acrylics. I wanted to talk about what it represents to me. If you are familiar with Lehi’s dream of the Tree of Life you will understand a bit more. The iron rod is the “word of God” and the word of God is the Priesthood that leads to the “Tree of Life” As you can see there is only two people in this painting and it represents Christ in his red robs and the other is you. No others are present as in what Lehi saw because nobody else matters. The only ones that matter are You, God, and Christ. I purposely only gave color to certain parts of the painting because without Christ and his Gospel everything else lacks. I designed the great and spacious building to look like it came from all time periods. There is more symbolism in there so tell me what does it say to you?
